Rockets Open Mid-American Conference Play this Weekend

TOLEDO, OH – Toledo will open its Mid-American Conference schedule this weekend when it plays Ball State and Northern Illinois in Muncie, IN. The Rockets will battle the Cardinals on Friday, March 18 and the Huskies the following day on March 19. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
Toledo is currently on a four-match losing streak, all losses have been by a score of 5-2. UT looks to improve upon its 7-10 overall record with the start of conference play.

"We've had a really good mix of matches and schedule leading up to this point. I think we're pretty fresh and ready for the challenge of 2016 MAC play," said head coach Al Wermer.
The Rockets began 2014-15 MAC play with a 6-1 victory over Ball State. UT then fell to NIU, 5-2. This season, Toledo will have the opportunity to battle both MAC competitors twice.
