Ann Arbor, MI – The Toledo men's tennis team (7-9) dropped its match to No. 24 Michigan on Saturday afternoon.

"Stjepan was on fire today. Lots of pieces of his game are coming together. He seemed to play also with tremendous intensity," said head coach Al Wermer.

For the second-straight match, the only Rocket victories came from junior Stjepan Sisko and freshman Vince Anzalone.

Sisko defeated No. 60 Alex Knight, 6-1, 7-5, at the No. 1 spot. Anzalone won, 1-6, 3-0, by retirement of No. 123 Carter Lin.

The Rockets will host Marquette tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.

Sunday's match vs. Marquette will be sponsored by Toledo tennis alum Jeff Traudt of State Farm Insurance. Free food will be provided for fans throughout the match. USTA will host a Play Day following the match at approximately 3:30. The free kid's clinic is for ages 4-13.
