Miamisburg, OH – Toledo split the weekend with a 5-2 loss to Wright State on Saturday, following its 4-3 defeat over Cincinnati on Friday. The Rockets drop to 3-4 on the season.

"This was definitely a disappointing loss after playing so well against Cincinnati yesterday," head coach Tracy Mauntler said. "We need to work on controlling our energy and mental toughness on a more consistent basis."

Wright State won two doubles matches, collecting the doubles point, before the third could be finished.

Sophomore Sidnay Huck and freshmen Claire Aleck won two-set battles at No. 3 and 4, respectively. Huck defeated Taylor Culbertson, 6-2, 6-0, and Aleck bested Vanessa Madrigal, 6-2, 6-3.

UT will next welcome Detroit to the Glass City on Sunday, Feb. 28 for a 1:00 p.m. match.
