Columbus, OH – Toledo men's tennis travelled down to Columbus on Sunday evening to face No. 9 Ohio State. The Buckeyes defeated UT 4-0 at the Varsity Tennis Center. With the loss, the Rockets fall to 0-4 on the season, while OSU improves to a record of 6-0.
"Playing the No. 9 Buckeyes was not easy," head coach Al Wermer said. "However, with six freshmen starting our focus was on different priorities, such as individual and team improvement. With that said, I think tonight was a very successful experience for our guys."
In three singles matches, the Buckeyes downed the Rockets in two sets, while the other three matches went unfinished.
In doubles competition, OSU defeated Toledo in two matches and the third went unfinished.
