NOBLESVILLE, IN – Senior Chris Selfridge moved up nine spots to ninth place on Friday during the second round of the 2015 NCAA Noblesville Regional at The Sagamore Club (par 72, 7,173-yards).
The 2014-15 Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Year posted a score of one-under par 71 today to sit at even-par 144 (73-71) through 36 holes. Selfridge recorded three birdies on the front nine and two bogeys on the back to be one of 12 golfers to shoot in the red for the round.
UCLA's Jonathan Gazrrick sits atop the individual leaderboard at seven-under par 137 (69-68) and is one shot ahead of Colorado's David Oraee (68-70).
Xavier's Jose Montano is currently the top individual not on one of the Top Five teams and is tied for fourth place at two-under par 142 (72-70).
Selfridge is one of 75 players, including 14 teams and five individuals, taking part in the event, which is scheduled for three rounds. The final round will begin on Saturday with tee times beginning at 7:00 a.m. Selfridge is set to tee off at 9:23 a.m. from the 10th tee.
The top five teams and the top individual not associated with one of those teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships, which is slated for May 29-June 3 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, FL.
