Toledo to Hold Winter Baseball Camps

The University of Toledo baseball program will hold its annual winter baseball camps on Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 12-13. Three camps consisting of hitting, pitching/catching and general skills will be offered at the Toledo Baseball Practice Facility for student-athletes in grades K-12.
Enrollment is limited in each camp to ensure quality instruction. These three separate camps are designed to provide athletes with individual instructions covering all areas of the game and are divided into groups by age for instruction. The Rockets' coaching staff and players will provide detailed instruction on hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, pitching and baserunning.
The Toledo Baseball Practice Facility provides an excellent opportunity for complete baseball skill instruction and performance. Pitching machines, batting cages and mounds enable campers to receive instruction in all aspects of the game. New FieldTurf, new batting cage nets and new lights were recently installed to enhance the facility.
In the all-skills camp, campers will receive complete instruction in all areas of the game, focusing on proper techniques and fundamentals. Each player will receive individual instruction and ample time to enhance their playing ability.
In the hitting camp, there will be complete instruction in hitting only, focusing on proper techniques and fundamentals. Each player will receive individual instruction and ample hitting time to enhance hitting ability.
Finally in the pitching/catching camp, there will be pitching instruction to include general mechanics, grips, fielding and arm care. Pitchers will also throw to catchers. Catching instruction will include stance, receiving, blocking and throwing.

Players will learn the fundamentals of hitting from our coaches and players.

$70 per session
Players will learn drill work, techniques, and philosophy from our pitching coach and players of one of the top staff in the MAC.
