Akron, OH - Toledo women's swimming and diving completed their first dual meet of the season on Friday when they travelled to Akron, OH to face the host Zips and Ball State. The Rockets recorded four first-place finishes and 20 finishes within the top-three.
Senior Brooke Edwards dominated the 100 and 200 freestyles with times of 52.01 and 1:53.85, respectively.
Senior Samantha Richart recorded a victory in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.52) and sophomore Rachael Hester finished first in the 1,000 freestyle (10:35.31)

UT returns home next Friday, Oct. 30 to host arch-rival Bowling Green at the UT Student Recreation Center. The meet is set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
