
Toledo Improves in Second Round at Wolverine Intercollegiate

ANN ARBOR, MI – Toledo improved its standing and stroke total from the first to second round during Monday's action at Michigan's Wolverine Intercollegiate. The Rockets sit in ninth place at 31-over par 599 (304-295) after being in 10th place and shooting a 20-over par 304 in its first 18 holes.
Junior Chris Selfridge has produced the Rockets' best results and is tied for 14th place at two-over par 144 (73-71). Junior Jamie Richardson is three strokes behind Selfridge at five-over par 147 and tied for 28th place. Rounding out the Rocket lineup are sophomore Otto Black in 47th place at 11-over par 153 (76-77), junior Nate Gonring in 52nd place at 14-over par 156 (81-75) and freshman Jon Ransone tied for 54th place at 16-over par 158 (82-76).
Sophomore Thomas Shindler is competing as an individual and is tied for 59th place at 20-over par 162 (83-79).
Michigan State is leading the 11-team tournament field at three-over par 571 after rounds of 294 and 277. There are six teams within 10 strokes of the Spartans. San Jose State's Cody Blick sits atop the individual leaderboard after firing an impressive 10-under 132 (68-64), while MSU Mitch Rutledge is four shots back at 136 (70-66).
The third and final round will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday..
