AVON, OH – Due to inclement weather at the 2013 Mid-American Conference Tournament, Toledo's game vs. arch-rival Bowling Green has been pushed back even further on Friday afternoon.
Play was halted in the middle of today's second contest and will resume tomorrow at 9:00 am. at All Pro Freight Stadium. Central Michigan and Miami will finish their game at that time, a matchup which was halted in the sixth inning.
Following that game, Kent State and Ball State will play in a winner's bracket contest.
After that matchup is complete, the No. 7 seed Rockets (23-31) and No. 6 seed Falcons (21-28) will square off in their winner's bracket contest. The UT and BGSU game has tentatively been slated to start at 2:00 p.m.
UT advanced in the winner's bracket of the double-elimination tourney with a thrilling 12-10 triumph over No. 2 seed Buffalo on Wednesday.
Senior LHP Kyle Shaw (5-7, 3.18 ERA, 96.1 IP, 60 K) is slated to toe the rubber for the Midnight Blue & Gold, while BGSU has penciled in junior RHP Mike Frank (4-7, 3.67 ERA, 88.1 IP, 72 K) as its starter.
