
Tarrah Beyster Resigns as Head Softball Coach

TOLEDO, OH – University of Toledo head softball coach Tarrah Beyster announced her resignation today in order to pursue other career opportunities.
UT vice-president and athletic director Mike O'Brien said that assistant coaches Kyle Gross and Lane Leedy have been appointed as co-interim head coaches. O'Brien added that a permanent search for Beyster's replacement would begin immediately.
Beyster compiled an overall record of 55-156 in four seasons as Toledo's head coach, including a 23-64 mark in the Mid-American Conference.
Beyster, an All-American at Oregon State from 1997-2000, joined the Rockets after spending the 2009 season as the head coach at the University of Vermont. She also had experience as an assistant coach at Bradley, Indiana and Oregon State.
