
Men's Tennis Wins Doubles Point, Falters in Singles

NORMAL, IL - The Toledo men's tennis team took the doubles point, but Illinois State swept all six singles matches as the Rockets fell 6-1 Saturday afternoon.
UT dropped to 7-10 on the season with the setback, and remains on the road with a 10 a.m. match Sunday against Bradley.
The Rockets swept the doubles point, led by Sven Burus and Aleksandar Elezovic at the top with an 8-3 win. Knot Likitkumchorn and Leo Sarria held on in the tiebreaker, 8-7 (7-0), while Bryant Dudzik and Terence Weigand earned an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
However, Toledo dropped five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Elezovic reached a third-set tiebreaker but couldn't come away with the victory at No. 2.
