Poonthong Komolpisut takes No. 27-ranked Preston Stearns to first set tiebreaker on the No. 2 court
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team fell in its regular season finale match to No. 2 Ohio State on Sunday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio, 6-0.
The Rockets and Buckeyes played only singles competition with Ohio State earning straight set wins on all courts. Junior Poonthong Komolpisut took Preston Stearns, the No. 27-ranked singles player in the country, to a tiebreaker in the first set before falling 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 on the No. 2 singles court.
