With every match being worth a point the Rokets took control early and didn't look back. In doubles, sophomores Martina Wodzinski and Maha Guirguis didn't allow a set to HCC's Nachell Proctor and Elisa Leeder in an 8-0 victory. Freshman Ashley Frey and sophomore Nadia Zoubareva defeated HCC's Bridgette Carrillo and Katy Zaleski, 8-4, for the second point of the match.
Wodzinski had a tough singles match but pulled out the win over Proctor. The sophomore lost the first set 5-7 but then came back and won the second one 6-4. In the tie breaker, Wodzinski had the slight edge and took the 10-8 win.
Keeping her personal seven-match winning streak alive was sophomore Jessica Azoulay. She won 6-4, 6-1 over HCC's Brittany Bouden at the No. 6 spot.
