Mee on Gunter: "The signing of Calvin adds a much needed left-hander to our pitching staff. He has a great feel for pitching. Calvin knows exactly how he is going to get each hitter out and then executes his plan. The fact that he is able to throw all of his pitches for strikes helps him be very aggressive on the mound, as far as attacking the hitters. I love that in our pitchers. I expect Calvin will have a positive impact on our staff early in his career."

Mee on Dudics: "The addition of Chris really solidifies our infield. I'd say that he is a complete ballplayer. Chris is capable of beating you with his bat, his glove and his speed. This versatility is one of the things that really made him attractive to us. I also know that Chris' best days are ahead of him. He's a guy I believe will benefit from our strength and conditioning program. I am really looking forward to working with Chris and watching his development during the next four years. I have a feeling that Chris is going to be an exciting player during his time at UT."
