Head Coach Stan Joplin to Speak to a Pair of Business Groups

Toledo, OH - University of Toledo Men's Basketball Coach Stan Joplin will speak about leadership to a pair of business groups tomorrow evening in Savage Hall's Joe Grogan Room. The two groups he will be speaking to are EPIC Toledo and Aspiring Minds. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with Joplin scheduled to speak from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
Joplin was named the 2006-07 Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year after guiding the Rockets to their first MAC regular-season title since 1980. UT finished with a 14-2 win-loss mark in the league and a 19-13 overall record. Joplin is in second place on UT's all-time coaching win list with a 192-136 (.585) mark and his .585 winning percentage ranks ninth in MAC history among coaches who have spent five or more seasons in the league. His 192 overall victories rank seventh on the conference's all-time overall win list and his 115 MAC triumphs put him in sixth place for conference wins only.
