Toledo at West Virginia Cancelled Again on Saturday

MORGANTOWN, WV - The University of Toledo baseball team's games at West Virginia, scheduled as a doubleheader on Saturday, Mar. 17 at 1:00 p.m. have been cancelled due to inclement weather.
The Rockets (4-6) and Mountaineers will meet for a doubleheader on Sunday, Mar. 18, weather permitting. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
Senior Joel Visser leads the Midnight Blue and Gold with a .385 batting average, while junior Scott Boley is close behind with a .381 mark and a team-high 11 RBI. Visser has hit safely in nine of the first 10 contests with five multi-hit efforts. The 2007 team co-captain currently ranks tied for fifth in the MAC in doubles (5) and triples (1), seventh in hits (15), ninth in batting average and tied for ninth in total bases (22).
Sophomore RHP Mike Inselmann has been the top hurler for UT over the first three weeks, sporting a 1-1 record with a 3.60 ERA. Inselmann has accumulated 15.0 innings of work, surrendering eight runs (six earned) on 16 hits with 11 strikeouts and is 12th in the league in ERA. The Rockets' No. 2 hurler made his first collegiate start vs. Chicago State and allowed two runs on two hits with a career-high eight strikeouts in six innings to earn the win (Feb. 25).
Adam White is batting .411 to lead the Mountaineers (9-4) and Tyler Kuhn has driven in team-high 18 RBI. LHP Kenny Durst (2-1) has a team-best 1.75 ERA, while fellow southpaw Matt Yurish has struck out 23 batters in 19.1 innings on the mound.
