Track: Toledo Success Continues at Disney Relays

Orlando, FL - Toledo tracksters continued to run well at the Disney Relays today in Orlando, FL today. Four UT relay teams and two individuals registered top-10 finishes in the final day of competition.
The Toledo distance medley relay team highlighted the Rocket success by setting a new school record. Sophomore Briana Shook, senior Julia Ford, freshman Jessica Faulk and sophomore Kia Minkkinen ran a 12:03.64 for the record, finishing second in the process.
The 1600-meter sprint medley relay team, consisting of sophomore Keeli Stith, freshman Jenny Grimm, Ford and sophomore Megan Palm, placed fourth, running a time of 4:09.61. The 4x100-meter relay team ran to fifth-place finish with Stith, Grimm, junior Alexandra Delatour and freshman Brandy Farmer. UT's 4x200-meter relay team, behind freshman Amanda Everhart, Grimm, Stith and senior Tashira Vaughn, ran to an eighth-place finish.
Sophomore Emily Gora finished fifth in the 5000-meter race, running a time of 18:46.30. Freshman Becky Caskey led UT in the field events with a third-place finish in the hammer throw (120-0) and a fourth-place showing in the shot put (40-1).
