TOLEDO, OH - The University of Toledo men's basketball team concludes its preseason schedule on Thursday, Nov. 9 when it hosts the Ohio All-Stars at 7:00 p.m. in Savage Hall.
The Rockets opened their preseason last Friday with a 107-78 victory over Lithuania Select. UT was led in the scoring column by sophomore guard Nick Moore (20 points) and senior forward Robierre Cullars (19 points).
"This game gives us another chance to evaluate our personnel," said UT Head Coach Stan Joplin. "We saw we needed to work on our defense following our first game, and that's what we've been concentrating on in practice this week."
Other leading contributors in the Lithuania game were senior forward Greg Stempin (16 points) and senior center Craig Rodgers (12 points). Freshman point guard Terry Reynolds also made his presence felt in the contest by registering a team-high nine assists to go along with eight points and six rebounds.
