Running back Kareem Hunt is Toledo's Male Athlete of the Week after running for 118 yards on 15 carries and being named the North's Most Outstanding Player at the 2017 Reese's Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL on Saturday, Jan. 28. Hunt had runs of 43, 20, and 18 yards and also caught an 11-yard pass.

The South defeated the North, 16-15, in the 68th annual contest, which was played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, the site of one of Hunt's greatest games as a Rocket. Hunt rushed for a career-best 271 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore in a 63-44 victory at the GoDaddy Bowl on Jan. 4, 2015.

Hunt is Toledo's all-time leading rusher with 4,945 yards.
