Gaby DeSantis is in her second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Toledo women’s tennis program.
DeSantis played tennis for Ohio State, where she was named First-Team All-Big Ten four times. In 2014, DeSantis earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year and ITA Rookie of the Year honors. The following year, DeSantis was named an ITA “Player to Watch.” During DeSantis’ time with OSU, the Buckeyes claimed back-to-back Big Ten Tournament championships in 2016 and 2017, earned a #1 national ranking in 2016, and made it to the NCAA Final Four in 2017.
DeSantis hails from Caracas, Venezuela and graduated from Ohio State in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.
