Wild assisted in coaching the Rockets to a 11-10 record and an upset against defending Mid-American Conference champion Buffalo.Â
Wild came to Toledo after an outstanding collegiate career at Ball State. From 2011-15, she played in the No. 1 singles position, which helped her become the sixth-winningest singles player in Ball State history with 86 victories. The four-time first-team All-Mid-American Conference tennis player led the Cardinals to their best spring season in school history with 17 wins and their first MAC Championship appearance.
A native of Carmel, Ind., Wild started coaching the Rockets as a graduate assistant, pursuing a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Wild earned her master's degree from Toledo in 2018 and is currently a speech language pathologist at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio.Â
