Adam Kovac

Adam Kovac joined the Toledo women's tennis coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach for the 2024-25 season.

Originally from Novi Knezevac, Serbia, Kovac competed for four years on the Toledo men's tennis team (2021-24) and compiled a 32-57 singles and 43-35 doubles record. He was a two-time Second-Team All-MAC selection and earned one MAC Doubles Team of the Week honor in his career. With Kovac in the lineup, he helped Toledo claim back-to-back Mid-American Conferee Tournament Championship titles in 2023 and 2024, the program's first MAC Regular Season Championship in 2023, and two-consecutive trips to the 2023 and 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship Tournament. Kovac competed at two Milwaukee Tennis Classics, the 2022 ITA All-American Championships, two ITA Midwest Regional Championships, and the 2022 ITF Men’s Tennis Tour. As a sophomore, Kovac was voted team Most Improved Player and Toughness Award. He won the Flight 2 Singles draw at the MAC Indoors with an undefeated 3-0 record.

In addition to his collegiate accolades, Kovac produced a 29-10 record in ITF juniors play in 2019, captured a tournament title at the 2019 J5 Subotica Tournament in Serbia, and reached the semifinals of the 2019 J5 Skopje Open in North Macedonia.

Kovac graduated from with a degree in marketing from the University of Toledo in May 2023, and is working towards a master's degree.Â
