Ben Wielgopolski was named the assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Toledo in August of 2023.
Wielgopolski previously served as a strength and conditioning intern with Toledo football in 2023. Prior to that, he was a strength and conditioning graduate assistant in 2023 and a strength and conditioning intern from 2020-22 at Ohio University. Wielgopolski was also the recipient of the 2025 Champion Maker of the Year Award at the Toledo Athletics end of year banquet.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Wielgopolski graduated from Ohio University with his bachelors in sciences of journalism in 2022 before getting his masters in recreation and sports science in 2023.
