Outlook
A physical, tough player who will be expected to provide some scoring punch in the post and help control the boards...Will look to continue tremendous improvement displayed in sophomore campaign.

2008-09:
Played in 31 contests and averaged 19.7 minutes...Started eight of last 10 games and 10 contests overall...Averaged 5.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game and led the team in blocked shots with 0.9 per game...Ended season strong by averaging 8.6 points and 6.1 rebounds with 56.8 FG% (25-of-44) in last eight contests...Registered career-high 18 points, eight rebounds and was 7-of-8 from field vs. Western Michigan (2/28)...Notched four other double-digit outings with 13 vs. Miami (2/7), 12 at Indiana State (2/21) and 10 each vs. Ball State (2/18) and Northern Illinois (3/8)...Hauled down career-high 17 rebounds vs. Rhode Island (1/6) in first career start...Rebound total was most by a Rocket since Dec. 3, 1999...Tallied career-best three blocks vs. UIC (12/23), Rhode Island (1/6) and Indiana State (2/21).
