TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's golf program placed four student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, the league office announced on Monday.
Sophomore Valeria Lizcano, sophomore Rachel Mackinlay, junior Áine Martin, and sophomore Brooklyn Millard were each honored for the first time.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have competed in the team's lineup in at least 50 percent of the contests. First-year students and transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. First-year students and ANY transfer in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
