TOLEDO, Ohio – Head Coach Mark Batman announced the Toledo women's soccer program's 2026 schedule on Tuesday.
Â
Toledo will play 18 matches during the 2026 regular season, with 11 Mid-American Conference matchups and seven non-conference matches. The season will begin on Sunday, Aug. 16 at Dayton, with the home opener one week later on Aug. 23 against Mercyhurst. MAC play begins on Sept. 17 with a matchup against Kent State.
Â
"We are excited about who we've added to our non-conference schedule," said Batman, who is entering his fourth season as Toledo's head coach. "The goal is to better prepare us for the MAC with some tough opponents on the road while maintaining who we are at home."
Â
In addition to the Aug. 23 opener, Toledo will also have home non-conference matchups against Georgia Southern (Sept. 6) and IU Indy (Sept. 13). The Rockets will also face Mid-American Conference matchups at Paul Hotmer Field against Kent State (Sept. 17), defending conference champion Western Michigan (Sept. 25), Akron (Oct. 1), CMU (Oct. 9), Ball State (Oct. 18) and Miami (Nov. 1).
Â
The program will also hold Senior Day during the home opener on Aug. 23. The Central Michigan matchup on Oct. 9 will be held during Homecoming weekend and will also begin the program's Alumni Weekend.
Â
Away from home, Toledo will begin the season against the Flyers, while also heading to Detroit Mercy (Aug. 20), Oakland (Aug. 27) and Duquesne (Sept. 3) in non-conference play. In conference play, UT will face Buffalo (Sept. 20), UMass (Oct. 4), Bowling Green (Oct. 15), Eastern Michigan (Oct. 24) and Ohio (Oct. 29) on the road.
Â
Among its opponents, Toledo will face Mercyhurst and Georgia Southern for the first time in program history. UT will also travel to UMass for the first time ever.
Â
Toledo will also play two preseason exhibition games in August, hosting Cleveland State on Aug. 5 and traveling to Robert Morris on Aug. 8.
Â
The 2026 Mid-American Women's Soccer Championship will be held at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio in November.
Â
Admission to all matches at Paul Hotmer Field is free. TV and streaming designations will be available at a later date.
