Rocket Alumna Agnes Stenlund Joins 16-Time League Champion Apollon Ladies FC

TOLEDO, Ohio – Former Rocket goalkeeper Agnes Stenlund has signed with Limassol, Cyprus club Apollon Ladies F.C. to continue her professional career in Europe.

With her signing, the Finspång, Sweden native will compete with the club beginning in the 2026-27 season. The club competes in the Cyprion First Division, Cyprus' top women's soccer league, where it has won 16 league titles since the 2008-09 season.

Apollon Ladies also qualified for the UEFA Women's Champions League, which will open competition in July. The qualification marks 17 appearances in the Champions League for the club since the 2009-10 season.

Stenlund joins Apollon after starting her career with Budapest Honved FC in Hungary this year.

In 2024 and 2025, Stenlund started 33 matches as the Rockets' goalkeeper, totaling over 2,900 minutes. She is credited with 10 wins and 12 shutouts with the Rockets. Stenlund also twice won MAC Defensive Player of the Week honors in 2024.

Stenlund totaled 128 saves, a .810 save percentage and a 0.93 goals against average with Toledo.
