Baseball looks to continue its winning streak in matchups against Butler and Ohio this week. The Rockets will host the Bulldogs on Wednesday at Scott Park and then hit the road for the final time in the regular season for a three-game weekend series against the Bobcats on Friday-Sunday. The Rockets went 4-0 last week and are on a six-game winning streak after beating Oakland, 18-8 (7 inn.) and sweeping Ball State with wins of 8-3, 5-4 and 20-3 (7 inn.). Toledo is in fourth place in the Mid-American Conference standings, 2.0 games behind Kent State for first place.
The Rockets clinched a spot in the 2026 MAC Tournament with Sunday's win. The tournament will be held at ForeFront Field (formerly Crushers Stadium) in Avon, Ohio on May 20-23. Tickets are available here.
