Quoting Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Andrea Grove-McDonough
"Like a lot of track meets we had some ups and downs throughout the weekend. Some terrific individual moments highlighted by Melody's outstanding double in the 10k and 5k. Some great breakthroughs in the 800 and 200 and a lot of gritty performances.
"Missing some of our bullets definitely showed in the team score but we've nailed it two of the three cross country and track & field seasons so I can live with this one. For now, we look ahead to the NCAA first round for some of our individuals and getting them ready."
