Sydney Stepanovich moves into ninth all-time in 200m
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three Rockets tallied personal best times on day one of the Jesse Owens Invitational in Columbus, Ohio on Friday.
Freshman Sydney Stepanovich tallied a time of 24.49 for a new personal record time and moved into ninth in program history in the 200m. Stepanovich recorded an eighth-place overall finish while teammate Bralynne Dunn followed behind in 11th with a mark of 24.63.
In the 1500m, Olivia Gang set a personal best time of 4:39.44. Bailey Ranta led the way with a 12th-place finish in the event, crossing the finish line with a mark of 4:32.74.
Winny Kosgei saw action in the 5000m, recording a time of 17:25.59, while Jaydon Cirincione was closely behind with a personal best time of 17:41.98.
