Toledo can reach 500th MAC triumph with win against Cardinals
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team plays its regular-season finale on Saturday, taking on Ball State on March 7 at 2:00 p.m. The Rockets' Senior Day matchup against the Cardinals will air on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network.

Before the game, Toledo will honor guard Patricia Anumgba to celebrate Senior Day.
The Rockets (15-13, 9-8 MAC) got back in the win column on Wednesday in a 56-49 triumph at Western Michigan. Toledo was up 25-6 in the first half and overcame a nearly 10-minute scoring drought to stave off the Broncos' comeback bid. Kendall Carruthers supplied 25 points, with 20 coming in the second half, on 6-of-9 from the field and 12-of-13 at the foul line. Toledo has clinched at least the No. 6 seed in the tournament, and will move up to No. 5 with a win and an Ohio loss.
The Cardinals (24-6, 15-2 MAC) held on against Ohio, 86-85 on Saturday, before a bye on Wednesday. BSU is locked in to the No. 2 seed for the MAC Tournament.

The two sides will play a rematch of last year's MAC Tournament championship game for second time this season. Ball State took a 72-68 victory at Worthen Arena on Jan. 7.

Opening Tips
- A win would give Toledo an 11-4 record at Savage Arena on the season and a 7-2 home mark in MAC games.
- The Rockets' defense has held eight MAC opponents under 55 points this season, and are 8-0 in such instances. This includes five opponents under 50 points.
