Brooklyn Millard Notches Rockets' Best Round at Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

Sophomore registers four-over par 76 to conclude event
ATHENS, Ga. – Sophomore Brooklyn Millard carded Toledo's best round of the tournament to lead the Rockets in Monday's final round at Georgia's Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic. The Rockets finished in 15th place in the event played at the par-72, 6,217-yard University of Georgia Golf Course.
Millard birdied two of her final five holes and played her final eight holes today at one-under par to finish with a four-over par 76.
Sophomore Valeria Lizcano also registered her best round of the tournament today with a five-over par 77.
Host Georgia captured the team title at 11-over par, three shots in front of runner-up Rutgers. The Bulldogs' Trinity Beth topped all individuals with a 10-under par 206 to register a three-shot victory over Old Dominion's Barbara Cor.
The Rockets will return to action next week when it travels to Bryan, Texas to compete in Texas A&M's 'Mo' Morial Invitational on Monday-Wednesday, April 6-8.
