TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team was unable to hold on in the late stages, falling to Central Michigan, 68-64 at Savage Arena on Wednesday.

Quoting Head Coach Ginny Boggess
"I'm incredibly proud of our fight. A lot of young players stepped up and we saw a lot of new faces tonight. The future is really bright. We ran into a really good Central Michigan team with the leading rebounder and two top-10 scorers in the league. They were tremendous tonight. I thought we played really hard and am proud of our group."
