Sixth-place Toledo welcomes fourth-place Central Michigan in only regular season meeting
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team returns to Savage Arena to begin its second-to-last week of the regular season, facing Central Michigan on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 7:00 p.m. The game will air on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network.
The Rockets (14-11, 8-6 MAC) split their road trip to UMass and Bowling Green last week, defeating the Minutewomen, 60-52, before falling to the Falcons, 61-52. Graduate student Patricia Anumgba led Toledo with 22 points on 7-of-11 from the field and 4-of-7 from three. She also came up with a career-high seven steals. Toledo is sixth in the MAC standings and can clinch its spot in the MAC Tournament with a win and an Eastern Michigan loss against Miami.
The Chippewas (16-10, 10-5 MAC) fell to UMass, 69-50 at home on Saturday. CMU is fourth in the MAC standings, having already clinched a spot in the MAC Tournament.
