Toledo Registers Program-Record 3.853 GPA in Fall Semester

TOLEDO, Ohio – Eight individuals from the University of Toledo men's golf program registered a 3.50 grade-point average or higher and three posted a perfect 4.00 GPA in the 2025 fall semester to help the Rockets post a program-record 3.853 team GPA.

Since Head Coach Jeff Roope took over the program, the Rockets have registered a 3.450 GPA or higher in 17 straight semesters. It marked the seventh straight semester the program has posted a 3.700 team GPA or higher.

Women's Golf achieved the highest GPA in the department with a 3.876, which is second all-time for any Toledo sports, trailing only the record of 3.913 set by Women's Tennis in the fall of 2023. Women's Tennis was second with a 3.861 GPA, followed by Men's Golf (3.853).

Women's Golf and Men's Golf were two of six teams that set GPA records for the semester, joined by Baseball (3.558), Football (3.250), Men's Cross Country (3.614) and Women's Cross Country (3.683).

Other highlights from this past semester include:

73 student-athletes (18%) achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.

240 student-athletes (60%) earned at least a 3.50 GPA.

332 out of 400 (83%) total student-athletes made the Honor Roll by securing a 3.00 GPA or higher.
