Stenlund joins Budapost Honvéd FC after playing two seasons at Toledo
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo goalkeeper Agnes Stenlund has signed a contract to play professionally in Hungary with Budapest Honvéd FC Women.

Stenlund just completed her senior season tending the Rockets' net in the fall. With Toledo, Stenlund made 33 starts over two seasons, totaling 128 saves, a .810 save percentage and a 0.93 goals-against average in over 2,900 minutes. Stenlund is credited with 12 shutouts and 10 victories as the Rockets' netminder.

The Sweden native helped the Rockets tie a program record for fewest goals allowed, with just 16 goals against in 2024. She was twice named the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Week that season.

Before Toledo, Stenlund played two seasons at Niagara, which she made 23 appearances, 104 saves and recorded seven clean sheets.

Budapest Honved FC competes in NB I Women, the top women's division in Hungary. The club is currently competing in the 2025-26 season, which runs through May.
