Duo earns honor after 2-0 weekend
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo doubles tandem of freshman Isabella Barretto and sophomore Neha Guru was named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
Barretto and Guru went undefeated at the No. 1 doubles position throughout the opening weekend of the 2026 dual season. The duo posted a 6-1 victory over Oakland on Friday and then helped the Rockets clinch the doubles point against Dayton with a 6-1 win on Saturday.
Barretto and Guru sit at 2-0 overall on the season in doubles play.
The Rockets return to action on Sunday, Feb. 1 hosting Duquesne. First serve from Twos Athletic Club is set for 1:00 p.m.
