Men's basketball will travel to Northeast Ohio to face second-place Akron (16-4, 7-1 MAC) on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 7:00 p.m. before returning to Savage Arena to host Ball State (7-13, 3-5 MAC) in the ninth-annual 'Rockets for Life' game on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 12:00 p.m. Toledo will be looking to build on Saturday's 73-72 home victory over arch-rival Bowling Green before a season-high 6,850 fans. Freshman Leroy Blyden Jr. hit a game-winning three-pointer with 7.7 seconds left to lift the Rockets to the win.

Women's basketball is at home for a pair of MAC contests this week, facing Kent State on Wednesday and Bowling Green in the Battle of I-75 sponsored by the Fremont Federal Credit Union on Saturday at Savage Arena. Wednesday's tipoff will be at 7:00 p.m. while Saturday's contest will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday night is Club Savage night which will feature neon student section items and club-themed giveaway items. Saturday will be a gold out, and Rocket fans are encouraged to pack the stands and wear gold! Toledo is coming off a 75-66 road victory at Ohio on Saturday. Sophomore Faith Fedd-Robinson was one of five double-digit scorers for Toledo, scoring 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting, adding eight rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Track and field returns to the oval at the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. this Friday and Saturday. Last time out, graduate student Margrett Watt ran the sixth-best 1000m time (2:56.78) in program history at the Notre Dame Invitational. Freshman Sydney Stepanovich took fifth in the 60m finals and sixth in the 200m. Junior Lianna Surtz tallied a sixth-place finish in the mile with a final time of 4:45.92, a mark that leads the MAC.

Women's swimming and diving wraps up the 2025-26 regular season with a dual meet in the Battle of I-75 sponsored by the Fremont Federal Credit Union against Bowling Green. The meet will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening in Bowling Green, Ohio and will conclude on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the UT Student Recreation Center. Toledo will recognize three seniors with a senior day ceremony beginning at 9:15 a.m. Fans can park in Lot 18 for free. In last weekend's meet against Marshall, junior Leah Evans tallied a first-place finish in the 100 back with a mark of 54.77 while freshman Ryann Velasquez earned two top-three finishes in 1M and 3M diving events.Â

Men's tennis hits the road for three matches in Indiana this weekend. The Rockets will meet IU Indy on Saturday in Indianapolis, Ind. and then take on Butler and Indiana on Sunday. UT posted a 6-1 win over Tiffin and a 7-0 decision against Findlay this past weekend, led by senior Lucas Britez who picked up two wins on the No. 1 singles court. Freshmen AJ Sidoti and Pannawat Suttisomboon earned their first collegiate singles victories while Cole Cozens and Charlie Snow earned two wins on the No. 1 doubles court.

Women's tennis remains at home as the team will host Duquesne at Twos Athletic Club on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The Rockets opened the 2026 dual season with a 5-2 win over Oakland and a 5-1 win against Dayton this weekend. Freshman Isabella Barretto earned two straight-set victories on the No. 2 singles court while combining with teammate Neha Guru on the No. 1 doubles court to pick up two wins. Junior Jone Ibanez tallied two wins on the No. 3 singles court and freshman Anastasia Akuginova earned her first collegiate singles win on the No. 6 court against Oakland.Â
