DEXTER, Mich. – The Toledo men's and women's cross country teams opened their 2025 seasons on Friday evening at the Michigan Open in Dexter, Mich. No team scores were kept.
Redshirt sophomore
Bella Earl led the way for the Rocket women, finishing fourth with a final time of 17:49.7. Sophomore
Lauren Zanotelli followed behind, taking 25
th (18:32.9) while senior
Jaydon Cirincione earned a 28th-place finish (18:42.9). Graduate student
Margrett Watt rounded out the Toledo competitors, placing 35th with a time of 19:27.0.
In the men's competition, sophomore
Loann Brelivet placed fourth overall with a time of 15:07.3 and was followed by
Joad Martinho in 19th, crossing the finish line at 15:34.4.
Max Matolin and (15:40.2) and
Joshuah Taylor (15:40.2) took 22nd and 23rd, respectively. Rounding out the Rocket competitors was
Alex Martinez in 33rd (16:19.3) and
Ronald Neal in 34th (16:26.5).
