Toledo to Compete in Boilermaker Spring Classic on Sunday and Monday

Rockets to play 36 holes on Sunday and 18 holes on Monday
TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo women's golf team travels to West Lafayette, Ind this weekend to compete in Purdue's Boilermaker Spring Classic. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be held on Sunday-Monday, April 6-7 on the par-72, 6,211-yard Ackerman-Allen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Tee times will begin with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start each day of competition.

THE FIELD
The Rockets will be competing against three Mid-American Conference foes - Akron, Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois - in a 16-team field that also includes Bradley, Butler, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit Mercy, Illinois, Illinois State, Minnesota, Princeton, South Alabama, Tennessee Tech, and the host Boilermakers.
LAST TIME OUT
Senior Yedam Lee recorded the Rockets' top finish at Furman's Coach Mo Classic earlier this week 1 by tying for 36th place at 13-over par 229. Redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano tied for 47th place at 15-over par 231. Lizcano and Lee paced the Rockets in birdies in the tournament with nine and eight, respectively.
THE LINEUP
Toledo's lineup includes senior Yedam Lee at No. 1, redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano at No. 2, freshman Brooklyn Millard at No. 3, senior Kyleigh Dull at No. 4, and freshman Emily Young at No. 5.
Lizcano leads the Rockets with a 76.2 stroke average and is followed by Millard (76.7) and Lee (77.0).
