Freshman Brooklyn Millard Shoots One-Over 73 to Lead Rockets at Coach Mo Classic

Senior Yedam Lee ties for 36th place to lead Toledo individually
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Freshman Brooklyn Millard carded a team-best one-over par 73 to lead the Toledo women's golf team in Tuesday's final round at Furman's Coach Mo Classic. The Rockets finished in 14th place in the team standings at par-72, 6,450-yard Saint Johns Golf and Country Club.
Millard's round was keyed by registering birdies on three straight holes (No. 3-5). She finished tied for 59th overall at 18-over par 234.
Senior Yedam Lee recorded the Rockets' top finish by tying for 36th place at 13-over par 229. Redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano tied for 47th place at 15-over par 231. Lizcano and Lee paced the Rockets in birdies with nine and eight, respectively.
No. 39 Purdue captured the tournament title at 13-over par, four strokes ahead of No. 44 College of Charleston. The Boilermakers' Natasha Kiel earned medalist honors with a three-under par 213.
Toledo returns to action this weekend when it travels to West Lafayette, Ind. for the Boilermaker Spring Classic on Sunday-Monday, April 6-7.
