Senior Yedam Lee ties for 36th place to lead Toledo individually

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Freshman Brooklyn Millard carded a team-best one-over par 73 to lead the Toledo women's golf team in Tuesday's final round at Furman's Coach Mo Classic. The Rockets finished in 14^th place in the team standings at par-72, 6,450-yard Saint Johns Golf and Country Club.

Millard's round was keyed by registering birdies on three straight holes (No. 3-5). She finished tied for 59^th overall at 18-over par 234.

Senior Yedam Lee recorded the Rockets' top finish by tying for 36^th place at 13-over par 229. Redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano tied for 47^th place at 15-over par 231. Lizcano and Lee paced the Rockets in birdies with nine and eight, respectively.

No. 39 Purdue captured the tournament title at 13-over par, four strokes ahead of No. 44 College of Charleston. The Boilermakers' Natasha Kiel earned medalist honors with a three-under par 213.

Toledo returns to action this weekend when it travels to West Lafayette, Ind. for the Boilermaker Spring Classic on Sunday-Monday, April 6-7.
