TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team remains on the road for a second-straight weekend when it visits Youngstown State and Penn State. The Rockets and Penguins will meet on Saturday and round out the trip on Sunday at Penn State. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
ABOUT THE ROCKETS
Toledo (2-2) fell to Indiana last weekend in Bloomington, Ind., 4-1.
Poonthong Komolpisut and
Joshua Mackey earned a win on the No. 2 doubles court while
Hanamichi Carvajal grabbed a straight set win on the No. 2 singles court, 6-2, 6-2.
ABOUT YOUNGSTOWN STATE
Youngstown State enters the match with a 4-0 record, most recently defeating Nichols, 7-0.
The Rockets and Penguins last met on Jan, 27, 2023 in Toledo as the Rockets took a 7-0 win.
ABOUT PENN STATE
Penn State sits at 5-1 on the season, falling to Yale, 7-0, and defeating Buffalo, 4-2, last weekend.
Toledo and Penn State last met on Jan. 26, 2024 in University Park, Pa. with the Rockets posting a 4-3 victory.
