TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's basketball team (16-10, 9-4 MAC) looks to build momentum following Tuesday's 67-66 nailbiting win over Ball State when it hosts Bowling Green (10-16, 4-9 MAC) in the second Battle of I-75 this season on Friday, Feb. 21 in Savage Arena. Tip-off time is set for 6:00 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network. The always-popular Troy Pop Rocks jump rope group will perform at halftime of the contest.
Toledo is currently in third place in the Mid-American Conference standings, trailing first-place Akron (21-5, 13-0) and second-place Miami (19-7, 10-3). The Rockets will be looking to sweep the season series vs. BG for a third time in the last four seasons, in addition to winning their 100th game in program history over the Falcons.

Toledo leads 99-84. UT has won six of its last seven games vs. BG, with five of those victories by double digits. UT has won nine of its last 11 at home vs. the Falcons. BG's lone wins in Savage Arena came in 2020 & 2021.

Isaiah Adams hit two free throws with 12.7 seconds remaining to give the Rockets their one-point win over the Cardinals. Adams finished with a game-high 18 points after coming off the bench for the first time this season. Ball State's Jermahri Hill appeared to score the winning basket right before the buzzer, but officials waved it off following a video review. Joining Adams in double digits were Sam Lewis and Sonny Wilson with 12 points apiece. Javan Simmons also added nine points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Sonny Wilson and Sam Lewis are leading Toledo with 15.5 and 15.2 ppg, respectively. Javan Simmons is averaging 11.5 ppg and a team-high 6.7 rpg, while Isaiah Adams is scoring 11.2 ppg. Lewis and Simmons lead the MAC with a 45.0 3PTFG% and 3.1 offensive RPG, respectively.
ABOUT BOWLING GREEN
Bowling Green is 2-8 on the road and has won three of its last five games since a season-high five game losing streak (Jan. 18-Feb. 1). Marcus Johnson ranks second in the MAC with 16.6 ppg, while Javontae Campbell is averaging 14.1 ppg and a league-best 2.9 spg. Derrick Butler (13.3 ppg) and Trey Thomas (11.2 ppg) are also in double digits.
