TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's track and field team will split between two meets this weekend. Distance runners Laura Nicholson and Mercy Kinyanjui will compete at two meets in Boston while 15 Rockets will see action across various events at Wisconsin's Windy City Invite in Chicago.

Nicholson will compete in the mile run on Friday at Boston College and the 800m and the mile run at Boston University on Saturday. Kinyanjui will run the 3000m at BC on Friday and both the 3000m and 5000m at BU on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
Senior Samantha Thomas broke the school record in the 400m with a time of 54.31 at the Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. Senior Haley Livingston took fifth-place in the long jump with a mark of 5.60m while Makenna Englund took sixth in the high jump event with a mark of 1.52m.
