TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team will play their second game of the week at home, taking on Northern Iowa at Savage Arena Saturday afternoon. The game tips off at 2:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Rockets (3-3) come into the game winning consecutive games over Youngstown State and Morgan State. Toledo beat Morgan State 79-66 at home on Tuesday with three double-digit scorers. Kendall Carruthers led the team in scoring in the contest with a 27 points, her most in her Toledo career.
The Panthers (3-4, 1-0 in MVC) won their first Missouri Valley Conference game 68-54 against Illinois State on Wednesday. Saturday will be the first all-time meeting between the Rockets and the Panthers.

Opening Tips
- Toledo plays its second consecutive game in Savage Arena, where it is 2-1 this season and 58-7 since the 2021-22 season. Toledo lost to Gonzaga in a tight battle but beaten Detroit Mercy and Morgan State by double digits.

- Junior guard Kendall Carruthers led the team with a Toledo career-high 27 points. The performance top her previous record of 21 scored last season against rival Bowling Green. - Sophomore guard Faith Fedd-Robinson has scored in double figures in five-straight games. She came one rebound shy of her second consecutive double-double with a 10-point, nine rebound performance against Morgan State. She also had a pair of blocks and a pair of steals in the victory.
- Redshirt sophomore center Evyn Carrier set several season highs against Morgan State with eight points, seven rebounds, two assists and 13 minutes played off the bench.
- Fedd-Robinson and Carruthers each have five double-digit scoring games through the Rockets' first six contests.
- Toledo is allowing just 30.7 rebounds per game to its opponents, the fewest in the conference.
- The Rockets have two players who rank in the top-10 in the MAC for field goal percentage. Evalyse Cole ranks sixth with a .521 rate and Miriam Diala ranks eighth with a .514 rate.
- Faith Fedd-Robinson is tied for 15th in the MAC with 12.8 PPG and is tied for fourth in blocked shots with 1.0 per game.
- Kendall Carruthers is tied for fifth in the league in steals with 2.0 per game. She is also ninth in the MAC in scoring with 14.0 PPG.
