TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team was selected to place second in the Mid-American Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, the league announced on Tuesday.

The league's coaches picked Toledo to finish second with 38 total points and one first-place vote to go along with one vote as MAC Tournament Champion. Miami was chosen to finish first with 48 points and six first-place votes while Eastern Michigan was chosen third with 35 points.

The Rockets won the regular season MAC title in each of the past two seasons. Last year Toledo also won the MAC Tournament, advancing to the NCAA Championship Tournament for the first time in school history.

Toledo will open the 2025 dual season on Friday, Jan. 24 against Tiffin at Twos Athletic Club. The 2025 MAC Championship will take place at the University of Toledo on Thursday-Friday, April 24-25.
