Toledo Heads to Eastern Michigan for Conference Dual Meet on Friday

Rockets ready for MAC competition vs. the Eagles
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's swimming and diving heads to Ypsilanti, Mich. to take on Mid-American Conference opponent Eastern Michigan on Friday. The Rockets and Eagles begin competition at 5:00 p.m. from Jones Natatorium.
LAST TIME OUT
Toledo hosted Marshall and Miami in a pair of meets last weekend. Freshman Rosie Richards earned MAC Swimmer of the Week honors for the first time in her career after winning all four of her individual events lats weekend. Richards earned victories in the 1000 freestyle and the 500 freestyle against Marshall and won the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle versus Miami. Sophomore Leah Evans won the 100 butterfly in both meets, extending her win streak in the event to four-straight dual meets.
Junior Amanda Dosey led the Rocket divers, placing second on the 3M board and third in the 1M event against Marshall and taking second against Miami in the 3M event.
ABOUT EASTERN MICHIGAN
Eastern Michigan owns an overall record of 3-1 and is 1-0 in the MAC, defeating Buffalo 149.5-148.5 on Oct. 26, 2024. In their last dual meet, the Eagles competed against Oakland on Nov. 21, 2024 and won eight individual events.
SERIES HISTORY
The Eagles lead the all-time series, 19-8. The last meeting between Toledo and Eastern Michigan was on Oct. 28, 2022 in Toledo where the Eagles won, 165-134.
UP NEXT
Toledo will wrap up regular season competition against Bowling Green and Buffalo on Friday, Jan. 31 in Bowling Green, Ohio and on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Student Recreation Center.
