TOLEDO, Ohio – University of Toledo men's basketball head coach Tod Kowalczyk and his 2024-25 squad are honored to announce the addition of Archer Brazeau to the program in partnership with Team IMPACT.

"We are thankful to have been introduced to Archer and his family through Team IMPACT," said Kowalczyk. "We are excited to officially welcome Archer to our team. The success of our program and our culture depends on the people within it, and we are extremely fortunate to be adding a strong and determined individual to our basketball family."

Archer, who is six years old, suffers from Epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare skin disease that causes extreme irritation of his skin.  Archer and his family, Kirk (Father), Nicki (mother), Anderson (brother) are from the Old Orchard neighborhood in Toledo, and look forward to cheering on the Rockets this season as they go for their fifth straight MAC Championship.

"Archer and our family are so excited to be given the opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of such exceptional programs like the University of Toledo Men's Basketball and Team Impact," said Nick Brazeau. "Since we were first paired with the men's basketball team through Team Impact, the smile hasn't left Archer's face.  He has loved every second of getting to know the team and being around the players.  Archer cannot wait for being with the team this year, meeting new people, and building lasting friendships while being a part of something very special with the Men's Basketball Team."

By signing, Archer and his family will be paired with Toledo men's basketball throughout the next two seasons.
