Toledo ties for most in conference and finishes one shy of program record
TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's golf program placed six student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, the league office announced on Wednesday. The Rockets' six honorees tied Northern Illinois for the most in the conference and were one shy of their most in program history.

Fifth-year senior Amelia Lee was honored for a fourth time, while seniors Macy Hanus, Angel Hii, Cheryl Hong and Kaitlyn Natividad received the honor for a third time. Junior Yedam Lee was honored for the first time in her collegiate career.

Hii leads the Rockets with a 3.975 cumulative grade-point average, with Hanus (3.921) also possessing a GPA above 3.90. During the 2023-24 academic year, the women's golf program posted a 3.761 GPA in the fall semester and a 3.740 GPA in the spring semester.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
