TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo's Marko Galic, Matias Olivero, and Pawit Sornlaksup were named to the 22-man Academic All-MAC Men's Tennis squad, the Mid-American Conference office announced Monday.

Sornlaksup is receiving the honor for a second time, while Galic and Olivero are being honored for the first time.

The 2024 MAC Player of the Year, Sornlaksup received MAC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week on Nov. 8, 2023, after going undefeated in singles and doubles play at the MAC Indoors tournament.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete not in their first season of competition must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
